I am the mother of 6 children. Water safety for children, my own and those entrusted
to me, has always been a major part of my life personally and professionally. I am currently a registered United States Swim Coach and am the Head Coach at
Chantilly National Golf and Country Club in Centreville. I have been in this position for 11 years. I also have coached for
York Swim Club for the past 7 years.
In 2006, Chantilly National Golf and Country Club made me the Swim Pro and put
in charge of all activities, lessons, and the swim team at their aquatics facility.
I have given lessons both privately and in groups for 15 years. I currently have CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Safety Training for Swim
Coaches, American Red Cross Lifesaving and First Aid, Infant and child CPR, and
ASCA Level 1 Certified.
I found out about Infant Swim Resource in September of 2007 from the parents
and founders of the “
Trevor Birdie Davis Water Safety Foundation”. These two courageous parents took a tragedy in their family and made it their
mission to bring Infant Swim Resource to the DC Metropolitan area.
With my love for the water and my connections to the swimming world in this area
I decided to make it my mission to take my love for the children and water to
an exciting new level.
I am very eager to start teaching classes and being part of bringing this program
and the ISR mission to this area.
