As long as I can remember I have loved the water. I made it my life's design
to pass the love of the underwater world on to others. As a young teen I spent
summers in the Northeast in Red Cross and YMCA programs either teaching swimming,
lifeguarding, or getting certified in the next level of aquatics. When I was forced
to grow up and go on to college, I put aside all the fun and frolics of swimming
and found myself involved with my other passion - the culinary arts.
The long cold New Hampshire winters soon put swimming in the background, and
those beautiful summer nights swimming in the reservoirs of New Hampshire as a
lifeguard/swim instructor were short lived. I kept that up for several summers
to come, but it was not until my family and I moved to St. Augustine, Florida
that I was able to grow back my fins and get back into the water.
I trained and entered in local triathalon competitions and still was involved
in the culinary arts owning and operating a very successful catering and gourmet
store. I taught my 2 boys to swim at a very young age and they are still very
water active.
It was not until I had an accidental encounter with an ISR Master Instructor
that my awareness was fully realized.
And so my beautiful life with ISR began.
I trained in Jacksonville, Florida with Master Instructor Josy Hoey. And in Orlando Florida with Dr. Harvey Barnett.
I set up the program in St. Augustine, Florida in 1990.
I taught hundreds of children in St. Augustine before a life change brought me
back to New England. I am thrilled that I have had the opportunity to bring
the program here.!
Please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to discuss a plan to get your
child{children} skilled the ISR way.
WATCH YOUR CHILDREN IN AND AROUND THE WATER ....CONSTANTLY.
Thank You
